SECTION AL
A keelson is the longitudinal timber that reinforces a ship’s hull from the inside — invisible, load-bearing, and the reason the whole thing stays tight when conditions turn.
That is what we build. The part you don’t see, holding up the part you do.
Section · 01 / Outcomes
We sell four kinds of work.
Each engagement is a priced deliverable against one of these, anchored to a metric your CFO can verify. No billable hours, no “phase 2 will address that.”
- 01
Claims processed faster
Your service and warranty triage workflows stop routing to a human queue. The system reads, classifies, drafts the response, and only the exceptions land on a person.
- 02
Leads qualified tighter
Inbound leads get scored on your actual ICP — not a vendor checklist — and routed with context attached, so your sales team walks into calls that already have a thesis.
- 03
Reconciliations closed overnight
The month-end close that used to eat a week of analyst time runs on a schedule your controller can sleep through. Exceptions are pre-bundled for human review by morning.
- 04
Contracts drafted in minutes
First-pass NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs generated from your playbook and your prior deals — the language your lawyers have already approved, with your fallbacks baked in.
Section · 02 / Process
From first call to production system.
Five steps, ninety days, one written deliverable per week.
Step 01 · 2 weeks
Audit
Two-week workflow audit
We map your operations against your systems and surface the two or three highest-ROI automation targets. You get a written brief — what to build, what to skip, and what the expected outcome is. Fixed scope, fixed fee.
Step 02 · 1 week
Design
Outcome contract
We write the engagement as a priced deliverable, not an hourly rate. The price is tied to the metric you care about — cycle time, close speed, qualified-lead rate — and the acceptance criteria are agreed before a line of code is written.
Step 03 · 4–8 weeks
Build
Production system, in your stack
We build on top of Claude, GPT, or open-weight models — whichever fits the workload — wired into your existing CRM, ERP, ticketing, and document systems. You see working software every Friday, not slides.
Step 04 · ≤ 90 days
Ship
Handover, with everything
You receive the working system, the documentation, the model artifacts, the evaluation harness, and a clean ownership transfer. Your team is trained. Nothing rests on us being in the loop.
Step 05 · Ongoing
Retain
AI Ops retainer (optional)
If you want us to keep it tight, we monitor drift, refresh prompts, retrain on new data, and patch the inevitable breakage before it shows up in production. The keelson stays load-bearing.
Section · 03 / Why Keelson
Why this is different from the alternatives you’ve already been pitched.
The Big Four
- Strategy decks
- Billed at $400–$700 / hr
- No shipped system
Freelance marketplace
- Unmaintained prototype
- Vanishes after handoff
- You own the risk
Keelson
- Outcome-priced, written down
- Production system in your stack
- Ownership transfer + AI Ops retainer
Section · 04 / Pricing
The price is the result, not the input.
After the audit, we write one number: the fee for delivering the outcome you care about, against acceptance criteria you approve. If we miss the line, we eat the difference. If we ship fast, we don’t charge more. The risk sits where it should.
Fixed deliverable
One price, one metric, one acceptance test.
90-day ceiling
If we can’t ship it in 90 days, we’ve mis-scoped.
Full transfer
Code, docs, model artifacts, eval suite. No holdback.
Optional retainer
AI Ops to monitor, refresh, and patch in production.
Section · 05 / Frequently asked
